RV Washer & Dryer Repair in Palm City

We work on all major RV washer/dryer brands including Splendide, Westland, Pinnacle, and Dometic. Most RVs use combo units that wash and dry in the same drum, and we're experienced with all of them. We also service stackable and standalone units in larger motorhomes.

Combo units use condensation drying instead of a traditional vent, which is inherently slower than a vented dryer. But if drying times have gotten noticeably longer, the most common causes are a clogged lint trap, a restricted drain hose, a failing heating element, or overloading the drum. These units work best at about two-thirds capacity.

Sometimes, but it depends on your RV's plumbing and electrical setup. You need a dedicated 120V circuit, hot and cold water supply lines, a drain connection, and enough space for the unit. We can assess your RV and let you know what's needed. In some cases, the plumbing connections already exist but are just capped off.

A washer that won't drain usually has a clogged drain pump, a kinked drain hose, or a failed drain pump motor. Small items like coins, hair pins, or socks can get past the drum and jam the pump impeller. We'll pull the pump, clear the obstruction, and test the drain cycle to make sure it's flowing properly.

Annual service is a good idea, especially before a long trip. We'll check the door seal, clean the lint trap and drain pump filter, inspect the belt and hoses, and run a test cycle. Florida's hard water also causes mineral buildup inside the drum and on the heating element, so a descaling treatment once a year helps prevent problems.
