RV Appliance Repair & Service
RV appliances aren't built like what's sitting in your kitchen at home. They're smaller, they run on propane and 12-volt DC and 120-volt AC (sometimes all three), they get bounced around on the highway, and they're exposed to Florida heat and humidity that residential appliances never deal with. That's why they break differently, and it's why you want a technician who actually understands RV-specific systems. We've been fixing Dometic, Norcold, Suburban, and Atwood appliances in Martin County for over 14 years, and we come to your location with the parts and diagnostic tools to get things running right.
We repair all RV appliances in Palm City and Martin County. Fridge repair $185-525, stove/oven $135-325, washer/dryer $215-525, awning $175-600. We come to your campsite, driveway, or storage lot with parts for Dometic, Norcold, Suburban, and Atwood. Call 772-271-5270.
Refrigerator Repair
Dometic and Norcold absorption fridges are what we see most. Not cooling on electric? Probably a burned heating element. Not cooling on gas? Could be the burner, thermocouple, or flue. We also work on residential-style compressor fridges in newer rigs. Repairs run $185-525.
Learn moreStove & Oven Service
Suburban and Atwood stove tops and ovens run on propane. When burners won't light, it's usually a clogged orifice, failed igniter, or a thermocouple that can't sense the flame. We test every burner and the oven thermostat. Repairs run $135-325.
Learn moreMicrowave Repair
RV microwaves take more abuse than residential units because of road vibration. Common issues are a failed magnetron, blown fuse, or a door switch that's not making contact. We can usually repair them on-site, though some units are more cost-effective to replace. We'll give you honest advice either way.
Learn moreWasher & Dryer Service
Splendide and Westland combo units are the most common RV washers we see. They're compact and temperamental. Drum not spinning, error codes, door seal leaks, drainage problems - we troubleshoot and repair them all. Service runs $215-525.
Learn morePropane System Service
Your propane system feeds the fridge, stove, furnace, and water heater. A leak anywhere in that system is a safety hazard. We inspect regulators, supply lines, shutoff valves, and every connection point. If something's leaking, we fix it on the spot. Annual inspections are worth every penny.
Learn moreAwning Repair & Replacement
Wind damage, stuck motors, torn fabric, and broken arms are what we deal with most on Carefree, Dometic, and Solera awnings. We repair power awning motors, replace fabric panels, and straighten or swap damaged arms. Costs range from $175-600 depending on what's needed.

Appliance Issues We Handle Every Week
RV Fridge Warm on One Side
Absorption fridges (which is most RV fridges) use gravity and heat to circulate ammonia through the cooling system. If your fridge is cold on one shelf but warm on another, the cooling unit is starting to fail or there's a blockage in the ammonia circuit. This is especially common in older Norcold N611 and N811 models. Sometimes we can revive the unit by running it level and cycling it through a series of power modes. If the cooling unit is truly done, we'll discuss whether it makes more sense to repair or replace the entire fridge.
Propane Smell Near the Stove
If you smell propane near your stove, shut off the tank valve immediately and ventilate the RV. The most common culprit is a burner valve that's not seating properly or a loose supply line connection behind the stove. We use a combustible gas detector to pinpoint the exact location of the leak, then repair or replace the faulty component. Don't ignore even a faint propane smell. It's a safety issue that only gets worse.
Power Awning Won't Retract
A stuck power awning is stressful, especially with afternoon storms rolling in off the St. Lucie River. Low battery voltage is the first thing to check. If the voltage is fine, it's usually a failed motor, a broken gear assembly, or a bad awning switch. Don't try to muscle it closed by hand - you can bend the arms or damage the roller tube. Call us and we'll walk you through a temporary fix if weather is coming, then schedule a proper repair.
Washer/Dryer Combo Won't Drain
Splendide combo units are notorious for drain issues. The most common cause is a kinked or clogged drain hose, which happens easily because the hose gets compressed behind the unit during travel. The drain pump can also fail. We check the hose routing, clear any blockages, and test the pump. If the pump is bad, we replace it on-site. These units are compact and hard to access, but we've been pulling them out and putting them back for years.
Getting Your RV Appliances Fixed
Tell Us What's Going On
Call 772-271-5270 or submit our online form. Let us know which appliance is acting up, the brand and model if you have it, and what it's doing (or not doing). If it's a fridge, tell us whether it fails on gas, electric, or both. The more detail you give, the more likely we'll have the right parts on the truck.
On-Site Diagnosis
We come to your campsite, driveway, or storage lot. We test the appliance thoroughly, checking power supply, gas connections, internal components, and control boards. You get a clear diagnosis and a firm price before we start any repair.
Repair and Test
We fix the problem on the spot and run the appliance through a full operating cycle. For fridges, we verify cooling on both gas and electric modes. For stoves, we test every burner and the oven. For awnings, we extend and retract multiple times. You don't pay until the appliance works the way it should.
